Job Title: Local Licensed Practical Nurse
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM).
Duration: 14-week contract position
Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Local Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility. The Local LPN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our residents, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The ideal candidate should possess a valid local nursing license and have a passion for delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medication and assist with treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team.
- Monitor and assess residents’ health, promptly reporting any changes to the registered nurse or healthcare provider.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care, including administering injections, wound care, and conducting routine medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each resident.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable nursing standards, regulations, and facility policies.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education programs as required.
- Foster a supportive and respectful environment for residents and their families.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in Franconia, NH
- CPR certification.
- Proven experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Knowledge of local regulations and guidelines governing nursing practices in a skilled nursing facility.
