Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Rehab
Schedule: 8.5-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM).
Duration: 9-week contract position
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a Rehab facility in West Reading, PA, for a 9-week contract position. As an RN in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to the facility.
Responsibilities:
– Assessing the health status of inmates and providing appropriate medical care and treatment
– Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
– Monitoring and documenting vital signs and medical conditions
– Collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
– Educating them about their health conditions and promoting preventive healthcare practices
– Adhering to all facility policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines and standards
Requirements:
– Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
– Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional or similar setting
– BLS certification required
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
– Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
