Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Schedule: 8.5-hour shifts (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM).

Duration: 13-week contract position

Summary: We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in [Clovis, NM]. The ideal candidate will be passionate about enhancing the lives of individuals through therapeutic interventions and possess strong clinical expertise in occupational therapy.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ functional limitations and goals.
2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address occupational challenges.
3. Provide hands-on therapy, utilizing various therapeutic modalities and adaptive equipment.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physical therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, to ensure holistic patient care.
5. Monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
6. Educate clients and their families on adaptive techniques and strategies for daily living.
7. Stay abreast of latest advancements in occupational therapy and incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment plans.
8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all therapy sessions and client interactions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
2. Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
3. Proven clinical experience in a rehabilitation or healthcare setting.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
