Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Schedule: 8:30-hour shifts (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM).

Duration: 10-week contract position

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Danbury, CT. The LPN will play a crucial role in providing high-quality nursing care to residents undergoing rehabilitation, ensuring their well-being and assisting in their recovery.

Responsibilities:

1. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
2. Monitor and assess residents’ health conditions, reporting any changes to the nursing and medical team.
3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
4. Provide compassionate and hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for residents.
6. Educate and support residents and their families on health-related matters.
7. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
2. Current CPR certification.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team.
5. Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred but not mandatory.
