Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Schedule: 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM)
Duration: 14-week contract position
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Coxsackie, NY. As a crucial member of our healthcare staff, the RN will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality care to our patients undergoing rehabilitation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent clinical skills, a strong commitment to patient well-being, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor the health status of patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding rehabilitation processes and recovery expectations.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in [Specify State/Region].
- Previous experience in rehabilitation or a related healthcare setting is preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications in relevant specialties are a plus.
