Title: Local Registered Nurse
Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, It includes 30 min of mealtime
Job Summary: As a Local Registered Nurse, you will provide expert nursing care and support to patients within the community. Your primary responsibility is to promote and maintain the health and well-being of individuals by delivering comprehensive healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assess and prioritize patients’ needs, plan and implement nursing care, and evaluate outcomes to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols and maintain accurate records.
- Health Monitoring: Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about managing their health conditions, medications, and preventive measures.
- Wound Care and Procedures: Perform wound care, assist with medical procedures, and collaborate with physicians as needed.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain detailed and up-to-date medical records, charts, and reports.
- Infection Control: Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, providing immediate care and coordinating with other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, other nurses, and allied healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Community Engagement: Participate in community health programs and outreach initiatives to promote wellness and disease prevention.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
- Current state or country registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and medical terminology.
- Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassion, empathy, and dedication to providing patient-centered care.
- Adaptability and ability to handle fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environments.
- Commitment to ethical standards and compliance with nursing regulations.
